I saw this live yesterday during lunch at work and I was stunned. She sticks with the guy who can't articulate his points (which are valid) and she cuts off the guy who can articulate his points, then she has the gall to say dissent is "not family viewing". Does CNN really have to guess why Fox annihilates them in the ratings?

I just heard Rush say that 189,000 people were at tea parties yesterday. I wonder what that number would have been had it been on a saturday or a holiday. Most of the people who would have liked to have been there were either working or at church. I think there will be more on the 4th of July and then one in DC on 9/11. I'd really like to go to that one.
Geez was that dumb. I love how she acts all antagonistic and then pretends she's all frazzled like she's afraid for her life or something.
I gotta say tho, which was the guy that COULD articulate his points well? oy.
The second guy was about to articulate his points when he got cut off.
It's pretty funny actually. CNN was out lookin for a brawl.
Just turned on the Evenin News to see if they'd mention the rallies. No mention at all.
I'm confused about something. I keep hearing this term "the liberal elite". I always thought that the Republicans were the "elite" with more white collar workers, big business and big money, and the dems were more blue collar workers, cops, teachers, etc. Am I confusing "liberal" with "democrat"? I've never thought of dems as being elitist.
I think a more proper term would be "political elite" and it applies to both parties.
If you look up the wealthiest politicians I think you'll find more dems than repubs.
The republican party used to be the sole protector of "big biz", now, imo, they are bid govt as well. They used to champion fiscal restraint; small govt, defense of culture and a strong national defense (neo-conservatism). Other than defense, they've changed. Maybe some still value our American culture.
The democrats are big govt. However, they understand that the monies from big biz help them keep the power the want.
Reagan was the last GOP leader to champion sm govt; altho he was a FDR supporter and FDR gave us a HUGE increase in governmental powers.
The latest poll I've seen says that 53% of Americans prefer capitalism to socialism. FIFTY-THREE PERCENT is it??!!
Soon this country is gonna be run by the likes of Stanley Rosenthal. Best get right w/ God before that happens.
I guess I thought that term was meant for us regular folk, and not just politicians or media. I'll be more aware of how it's used.
I wonder about polls like that...only because I don't think most people know beans about politics. And the whole "we should be one big happy world" concept is appealing. I don't know if a lot of people know all that socialism entails.
Oh, it's directed at the repubs and conservatives in general.
My favorite TEA Party sign that I've seen so far.. "Don't Tax Me Bro!".
Ha! That's funny. I'll say, I've really grown to like Bill O'Reilly. (He did that "don't taze me, bro" bumper sticker.) I actually got a shirt from his website that says on the front, "don't be pernicious" and on the back the definition.
When you look at the Dems, the high up ones, they are rich. Gore, Kerry, Soros, Clinton, Kennedy, etc. Then look at their supporters, Hollywood, the Music Industry, the Media. Again, very rich people. These rich people use the masses to get their friends into power. That's why you push the bar higher of those who don't pay taxes. If you have more than 50% of the nation that doesn't pay taxes, they'll keep the Dems in power. And by the way, I know you're probably reading this "Homeland Security". Maybe I'm one of those people Janet Napolitano was talking about.
