"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)
It's interesting how Satan attacks us right after we have a 'mountaintop experience'. When Elijah was raining fire (really God, through Elijah) on the prophets of Baal, he was experiencing an amazing amount of God's power. Yet, right after that he was running for his life from Jezebel, hiding in a cave. Yesterday, Carmen and I shared for communion at church. I'm not sure how well it went, even though Carmen and I had lots of compliments, but I'll listen to it in the next few days. But I felt really good about how it went. My prayer was that it would be encouraging, and go well with the rest of the service. It actually fit very well with the service. No one told us what to share, but God gives us the direction. Carmen talked about her life up until studying the Bible and becoming a Christian, and I shared about our baptism, and the peace I felt afterward. It was a good experience, and I felt good afterward and in the days leading up to it as I was preparing my thoughts.
But Satan had other plans. Those 'mountaintop experiences' are when he likes to attack. He sees us doing well, and he can't have that. The bottom line is that I had a terrible day today, one of the worst I've had in a long time. It followed a week where I was feeling so in step with the Spirit, and I could see God's blessings right in front of me. God takes care of those who love Him, and I know this. We have had a challenging last 3 or 4 months. We have been in a tough financial situation which has forced me to put school on hold. I have been waiting for a response from the Army as I am planning on going back onto Active Duty. I believe wholeheartedly that this is God's plan for our family, but it is taking too long for my liking. We have continued to get by (barely), but we have received a lot of help. While I have been struggling, God put the ultimate signature on His assistance this week. I was riding high and thinking even though this is a tough situation, God is right here with me. Well, I had a big helping of Satan slapping me in the face today, and it took most of the day to get over it.
But I have to go back to my faith in God. Satan tried to shake my faith, but I know what God's promises are, and God does not disappoint, no matter how much Satan tries to convince us otherwise. I have to go back to the Bible to straighten my head out, and here are some scriptures that usually encourage me in times of trouble.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. " (Ephesians 6:11-18)
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:11-16)

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we should pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." Ro 8:26
You're right, even Elijah had his struggles w/ faith. I do believe that these trials are for a reason.
When we met awhile back and you spoke of your desire to become an author my first thought was, "yes", this seemed to fit. I understand that immediate needs dictate certain actions (re-enlistn, for finacial and patriotic reasons). And, I'm very proud of you for your past and possibly future service. My experience is that the more breaks I took from obtaining my degree, the harder it was to get it (which I never did do). There are career paths that are not open to me now because of it (and I, at times, wish it weren't so). It would seem hard to adequatly pursue writin in the army (but not impossible).
You're young and God's hand is on your life. You will succeed!
You're family is always in my family's prayers. And this "trial" is gonna produce a stronger Nestor.
I'm sorry to hear about your tough times, Nestor. I wish you didn't feel the need to re-enlist, cuz that scares me, but that's just me and really who am I. Ultimately we do what's best for our families, and I understand your feelings towards the military.
I'm confident you'll be able to look back on these harder times, and see them as just part of the bigger picture. We've been thru a lot of loans and debt, and "borrowing from Peter to pay Paul". (BTW, I have no idea what that really means biblically, it's just what D used to say when the bills were being paid late!)
Anyway, you're both smart, good people, and I have no doubt that you'll be where you want to be in time. And don't let Satan worry you...you can kick his a** any day of the week.
Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'm doing better today. I was better in the evening last night, but most of the day was rough. As far as writing, I'm not sure. It is something I'd like to do. The present situation requires immediate attention though. Honestly though, in the military I would be able to get a degree in English or Journalism. It would be difficult to get a degree in a science field and going to pharmacy school can't happen if I'm in the Army. (unless they change something) So I don't know what God has in store long term for me. I'm just trying to let the Spirit guide me.
The problem with writing in the Army for me would be when there are things politically that I would like to say that I couldn't. I would have to walk a finer line with political speech.
Linda, thanks for the concern, but I'm a pharmacy tech. I'm not going in to do something crazy, though I briefly considered being a pilot. I have a friend who is a pilot and it seems really cool on the outside, until you see helicopters on the news getting shot down. I know that is a minority of the flights, but even I can buy into the liberal spin on the news sometimes.
Oh! Well, good then. Better. :)
You know you're old when you're watching an American Idol contestant sing "Fever" (..."fever in the morning, and fever all through the niiiight"), and instead of getting in the mood, you think about how much Motrin she could take based on her age and weight.
Ckd-out the Doc drama, interestn.
Tired a bein tired right now, this Autin drive is starten to suck aliitle bit. Oh well.
16th-21st gotcha. Glad it's middle a the month (family reunion 1st part a June).
Reg. Austin...are you going out there every day?
That's why I asked you about the dates in July before we booked...sheesh..you're such a guy. ;) Glad it landed ok.
Glad to hear you're doin better Nest. Have had hard times as well. But you're a go-getter and you'll pull outta this in no time. As a self-employed person I've been there (and may be again).
Almost a jinx :)
Austin mosta the time for awhile till I finish big-wigs house. Next Verizon there as well (couple aweeks or so till it starts).
We'll definately make Padre.
Good Deadliest Catch tonite.
Crash time. Gna

You poor thing.
Lin(da), have you ever heard of the 'Fever Tree'? :-)

> (family reunion 1st part a June).
I got one of those too. The Democratic party/family. Our last primary is on my birthday ("It was the 3rd. of June"), and soon after that it will be officially Obama for President.
Notice I included the word "officially" in there. :-)

Stan(ley),
We're only changing planes, not laying over in Houston, otherwise I would've seen if you wanted to have lunch at the airport. Mmmmm...sounds good, doesn't it? No better place for lunch than an airport...and reasonably priced, too! ;)
Pistons finished off Orlando last night and the Wings swept their second series. Motown is happytown right now. It's so fun watching both these teams do well right now.
Yeah, the Wings are on a roll..Go Wings! Still haven't seen em play, but..Go Wings! There gonna win that hockey..type..thing.
Well, we all overslept here (lost power last nite apparently).
Stan considers the demo party his family, like the good little commie that he is.
I can't get my kids to oversleep. In the 4 years at least one has been going to school, I could count on one hand the number of mornings I've had to wake them. They're up at least and hour before they need to be. Weirdos.
Funny they added a boat last night on DC, after I mentioned not being able to keep them straight. We were looking the show up on line while watching it, and D said... only one boat has been in every single episode since it's start. Care to guess?
btw, you guys are gettin to be tough nuts to crack. That 'fever' joke was darn funny and I didn't even get a snicker. Maybe you have to be a girl.
RE: "fever" joke. In the words a W. "I don't git it".
My guess...The Time Bandit.
Have a good day!
Alright, I know you don't care, but I'm compelled to explain the joke. The gal was singing "Fever", basically about getting all hot and bothered over a guy, right? But I'm OLD and have children, so my first thought is that she needs Motrin. And whenever you give a kid Motrin, you need to know their age and weight to know how much to give em.
Git it now Dubya?
Your guess is....
wrong. Tis the Northwestern w/ Captain Sig. Does that show make you wanna eat crab, cuz everytime we watch it, Dave starts jonesin for some.
Ohhh..now I git it.
Wow, I guessed wrong, what a shocker. Actually I was thinkin either Sig's boat or the Cornelia Maria; was usin reverse logic.
Speakin a Bush; goin up to the church at 8 to reherse.
Hey, you're not old, cause that's make me older than an old person.
I know I'm not old, only joking. Good luck dubya...I'm sure you'll do great mutilating the English language! What? I'm just sayin...
Thank ya.
Had em crackin up. Kinda worried that I can do dubya so easily tho.
Here's the full skit..
Announcer: Beth (edit) is a real (Edit) Baptist Church member and not a paid celebrity. So to help her introduce tonights Family Movie Night, we asked for the help of President George W. Bush.
Beth: Tonight, (edit) Baptist Church is having a Family Movie Night. The feature presentation is C.S. Lewis', The Chronicles Of Narnia.
Bush: Tonite..we're gonna watch a..recordifaction..a Jerry Lewis', The Chroneckels of Narnia.
Beth: Selecting a movie that would be both entertaining for adults and appropriate for children was not an easy task.
Bush: It's hard pickin tha rite movie, it's a tough job. It's not easy..it's uneasy.
Beth: Popcorn and drinks will be provided. But feel free to bring additional snacks if you wish yo.
Bush: Hey, whenever Laura and I watch a movie at the White House, we have snacks too. Snacks like..popcorn..cold drinks..juh juh beans.
Beth: Mr. President, I believe the correct way to pronounce that is ju ju beans.
Bush: ...I don't git it.
Beth: Admission is one dollar and we encourage you to bring the whole family.
Bush: One dollar! Now that's a family value. And, it's kid friendly.
Beth: The movie will start promptly at 5 pm. We hope to see you all there.
Bush: ..I don't know what promptly means, but the movie starts at 5 pm, which stands for..uh..five...e-ven-in. Hope to see ya there. I'm George W, Bush, and I approve a this massage.
Ha! Well done! I especially like the "uneasy".
"Massage"...was that a joke or your spelling? ;) Really, I've gotten used to skipping over your spelling errors, so I just caught that. sorry.
It's intentional.
Man, we're finally gettn some decent rain down here. Still chilly up there? Last couple a days here it rains, then it's cool for an hour or so, then hot and humid. Ahhhh..Texas.
Weather's been weird here, too. Every other day it's diff. Yesterday was cold, so I get in the car and the air's on from the day before. Nope...crank the heat. Rained all day yesterday...today is beautiful, high of 64 I heard. Ah...Michigan.
I think our low's gonna be 64 tonite. No complaints tho, high's in the low 80's today. Ahhh...80s.
No sur, but atleast last Lost 2nite.
Have a good one.
Have a good one what? BIRTHDAY??! Ok, I will! ;)
Yeah, I was thinking about being a grown-up about it and not sayin anything...ya know, as it's "no big whoop". But darn it, it only comes once a year, so I'll milk it.
Reck, I read that tonight's Lost episode is part 1 of a 3 hour season finale...the last two hours air on May 29th. Not sure if it's true, but I read it.
Durn, sorry; not so good w/ dates.
Happy Birthday from the entire Havic Clan! We're singn Happy Birthday ...NOW!
Lost!
Thanks, that was the second version of that song sung to me tday. My Choi class actually did it. D left yesterday for the Upper for a Walleye fishing trip, so tday was fairly uneventful. I know, cue the violins!
The thing about knowing about the Oceanic 6 is that I'm watching every episode w/ this perpetual sadness. I mean, are the rest of them all dead? I keep catching myself with this look of dread on my face as I'm watching. Like I'm just feeling badly for everyone. Sorta taxing. It was a good one, tho.
Two hours in two weeks..YES!
It was good. I wanna know who the other 2 of the 8 are.
I'm not following you on the 8 thing. Refresh my memory?
Hope D leftya something nice for b-day. Any cake? Kid made cards?
Oh well, happy birthday again Lin; you're the best!
On Lost there were (supposedly) 8 survivors but only 6 lived.
No cake, but my mom had the boys make me a card last time they were over there. Tony's said, and I quote..."your smile makes the world go round". Cute, eh?
Yeah, I guess I missed the mention of the 8 survivors.
Thanks for the well wishes...

> Stan ... the ... commie that he is.
Straw man. Attack the real me, you're missing your target as per usual.
Stan,
Shut up and wish me a happy birthday before I go to bed. ;)
Sorry Stan, I'll rephrase..Stan...the...s-o-c-i-a-l-i-s-t that he is.
Happy Happy Birthday before you go to bed, Lin!!!! All the best and all my love on your special day. :-)
And Reck, you're engaging in "straw man" argumentation/attack again. Dud, grow up.
Thank you, baby!
Good mornin all!
"On the road again..just can't wait to get on the road again.."
Willie 'a bigger commie that Stan' Nelson
Stan, Stan, Stan....
I specifically voiced my concern about me being quoted on other people's blogs and you done did it at Reck's. It wasn't necessary, and it only shines a bad light on me. I know you didn't use my name, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist.
I've been out of the loop. I'll be back in a few days to check on all of the happenings.
Ok, I'm laughin out loud...so I gotta share this. Reck, don't let your daughter read this over your shoulder...
For the most part, every year the Wings are in the playoffs, the local media, or someone, adopts a slogan. For example, "I want Stanley" was one year. (Winner of it all wins the Stanley Cup, Reck.)
Well about 5 years ago, the slogan was "Let's Get Up". Ya know, let's get up and cheer, let's get up and support the Wings, etc.
Well, at the time we had a Detroit t.v. announcer, Ray Lane, who would introduce the game. He was gettin older, and soon to be on his way out. So a bunch of people were sittin at our house for the game. There's Ray on t.v., yellin above the croud noise, the ice is dark behind him, with the spotlights going around, it's all very exciting...and after he does his introduction, he concludes with...
"So c'mon Detroit! LET'S! GET! IT! UP!"
I'm not kidding. It's not "IT up", Ray. It's "let's get up". Jaws dropped. I distinctly remember saying over the croud "He did NOT just say that!!" It was talked about throughout Motown for days.
So I giggle whenever I think about that. Well, I just got on the Wings' official website to check the schedule. Guess what our slogan is this year??
"Are you in?"
Oh good grief...
LMAO!
Atleast their slogans are consistant. Let me guess, viagra is a big Wings sponsor.
So do the hockey winners get a trophy as well, or just a cup? I mean, how about atleast a glass, or better yet a mug. No..no.. a STIEN.
Hope I spelled that right, guessn it be frosty..yuk yuk
See ya when ya reloop Nest.
Headn out to our last game. I'm thinkn 2 gm winnin streak. We're gonna peak at the right time..as the season ends, in last place.
Hope you won your last game!
Ooooh, a stein! Fancy! Nope, just a cup. Styrofoam...so they can engrave their name with their fingernail.
Ha, yes consistency. Put all 3 slogans together and you get pillow talk...course it doesn't say much for Stanley. I may have to research past slogans..I'll get back to you about that.
I'm headin to bed. Testing in the morning, straight to t-ball game, and home in time for the 1:00 face-off.
"DEE-TROIT CITY!!! ARE!.. YOU!...(ahem), in?
gn!
Oh c'mon! Did you win, or what?
Thoughts of this darn test kept waking me up. Jeez, it's not that big a deal...
I'll check it later. What are you guys up to today?
Now you sound like the busy one. How'd the test go? Hope your boy's team does better than us. We end the season 1 and 9 after an 11 to 10 loss last nite. In our defense we were a player short. I went hitless for the first time. Actually, I ended the season in a 3 for 10 slump.
Next season starts enda June (different league).
Well, late start here, headn to Austin.
Go Wings!..."Up and in Wings..up and in!"
No "up and in" for the Wings tday...left Detroiters unsatisfied.
Wow, tough season! Second season? What are you a glutton for punishment? On the bright side, this is probably making you a very good loser. Being a gracious winner is easy.
Test was fine, as was B's game. Weather got bad this afternoon, so we got everything in before the rain. The 'rents have the boys for the night as they go thru withdrawls if they don't see them enough. Just hangin out...I've resorted to taping Lifetime movies. No comment neccessary.
Reck,
I didn't have Willie figured for a commie. I would guess libertarian, but not a commie. He played for the troops at BAMC one time. It was good. He was supposed to play 2 songs and go. He played like 7. We were concerned that his bus would get inspected at the gate and they would find his 'herb garden' and not let him on post. But all was well.
I'm back in the loop. We moved the computer from in the spare bedroom or 'office' to the dining room. Well we are making better space of the dining room now but we have all of this empty room upstairs.
It took us a couple of days to get the internet connected because there isn't a phone jack or cable line in the DR. But we ran a wire into the LR and Kitchen so there's wires all over the house until we can get lines dropped in the dining room.
Dining rooms are weird, aren't they? I mean if you have eating space in the kitchen, it pretty much sits there with a table and chairs in it that you never use. We don't entertain much, let alone in a "dining room" sense. I've thought about making better use of ours, I just don't know with what!
Glad to hear your switcheroo went without much trouble! Did you hear Reck lost another game? Oh shoot, he checks here, doesn't he? ;)
Well, Willie does back Kucinich every 4 yrs. He also paid for the lodgings when all the Texas dims went to NM to protest some such thing. But, I do like his music.
Hey, maybe you should go into the comput install biz.
Actually SB loses are preparin me for the arse whippn the (so-called) conservative repubs are gonna take in Nov.
Hard nota comment on the LT flicks..struggln..fightn it....ok...it passed. Enjoy your *MOVIES*.
Speakn a commies..Austin is kinda like a mini freak show.
That's why we say, "Keep Austin Weird!"
Outside of the Northeast, it's pretty rare that you would see someone with dreads and 8 piercings in the same place as people who look 'gangsta', while also having 'yuppies' there as well. Yet in Austin, you can see that, and it doesn't even seem strange.
And yes it is a liberal town. We have the largest liberal factory in the world on 41 acres 5 blocks from the state capital.
Even I couldn't hang tough w/ the LT movies. Watchin Martian Child.
We have a city like that near us...Ann Arbor, where U of M is. It's good fun. They have a HUGE art fair in the summer, and musicians in the diag, safe, and a good time.
Hey Nestor, how about a blog about the gay marriage ruling in CA? Bet we could have a field day w/ that one!
I'd considered it. I heard Savage going off on it yesterday, but the kids were in the car so I didn't listen long. I didn't want to have to explain 'Homosexual Mafia' to them.
On that note, the whole Mafia thing is strange. Everything is called the Mafia, when Mafia is an acronym. If you say Russian Mafia or Mexican Mafia it doesn't make sense. There is only one Mafia, the Italian Mafia, eh Linda?
You got that right, Nestor. Don't mess with me...I have lots of Gino's and Tony's in my family!
Ok, my wife and oldest daughter are dancin to RS's "Jessy's Girl" in the kitchen, that's just weird.
So, S told me that durin dinner (baked ziti, which fits yalls Mafia topic) my youngest went to get a second helpin, walks back in the "dining room" and says, "love the ziti Mom". Funny.
Nothing weird about dancin to Jesse's Girl. Mmmmm...baked ziti!
My 3 boys like bowtie pasta and it kills me. That's for pasta salad, not for w/ sauce and meatballs. I'll make em into Italians eventually. My gma is still growing toms and makin sauce and I think that's awesome. (Oh, and if you pronounce 'Italian' with a long "I"? I might have to hurt you.
Would one of you please explain to me "bearing false witness against your neighbor"? I really don't know what this means and/or entails.
It means don't lie, or you'll end up sleepn w/ the fishes.
Been playn Mario Cart on the Wii, VERY fun. I'm always Wario..always.
So how's your boy doin at T-ball? Any set position or do they move em around.
They move them around. But as to how he's doing, he's crazy into it. A lot of the kids just stand out there looking around and Ben is on top of it. It's funny really. He's looking to see where the ball is, if he can get his hands on it, adjustin the cap, checkin his cup, I swear he does everything but spit. He's one interested kid. Maybe I'll bring you pics when I see you.
Boys have Mario Cart on the DS, but I don't know anything about it.
Learn. Race.
Glad to hear he's tuned in. The spittn will come, then it'll never stop.
Go to church..gn
Honest to gosh, you're a freak. I think it, you say it.
But what I was gonna SAY is I hope y'all say a prayer for E. Kennedy tomorrow. You may not like his politics, but stroke symptoms are not good...and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

> I will reluctantly vote for John McCain. I am hoping he will be a one-term president ...

Yes, wouldn't wish that on TK or anyone.
Have a God day!
Well I thought Martian Child was pretty good! It was sort of K-Pax-ish at first. The whole 'is he or isn't he?' (Of course maybe that's just me wishful thinking!) I really like John Cusack and I liked his sister, Joan, in this one too. I smiled, I cried. Wraps things up nicely at the end.
Does he go back to Mars??? You'll have to rent it to find out!
Reck, are you planning on seeing Indy in the theatres when it comes out on Friday?
R, N, S:
So we all know that Summer t.v. isn't great. So, I'm gonna throw a suggestion out to you guys to check out The Mole on ABC, June 2, 9:00 your time. Ever seen it? There are 12 people and they have assignments to complete as a group, but there is a mole among them sabotaging their efforts. There's a lot of watching carefully for clues and they have notebooks they take notes in...sort of Clue meets Survivor. (We don't know who the mole is either.)A lot of people who don't like reality t.v. really like this one. Thought it would be fun to talk about, if you all enjoyed it enough to get into.
I'll give Mole a shot. Altho, the fur and tail are probably a dead giveaway.
Prob see Skull on sat.
Fixin to go pass out door to door flyers for our church's upcomin Kid Supper Week. So I'll suggest this for your kiddos. Lots a fun activities, there usually a couple a hours a day; sorta a mini camp w/ Christian themes. Many churches have em. And yes, they do discuss Jesus. Our kids went a few times in the past (prior to our salvation and regular church attendance btw). Kids loved it, 'course kids love doin just about anything.
Bush skit was a big hit...next..Al Gore.
Ha! Fur and tail..
Glad your Bush skit worked. Were ya nervous?
T went to one of those a few years back...remember the "cyclops"? He told me later he was baptized there because a man put his hand on his head and blessed him. :)
Why do they always have to include the Jesus thing? ;)
We're going to try to get Ryan to our church summer camp up in Corsicana this year. I'd like to go with him, but I'm working a ton of hours that week, and we really need it.
As far as movies goes, I'm diappointed. I'd like to see Iron Man and Narnia and Indy. We may only get to see Narnia though as it's kind of tight and Narnia is the only PG movie.
Wasn't really that nervous once skit began..musta been all that whisky.
Oh yeah, the cyclops, very funny. I'll be workn as well, tho Summer and oldest are helpn-out.
Gonna intro the flick tonite as Bush again. Gonna mention it's got talkn animals, "just like my faverit cartoon shows".
Check this out. Got in the mail a promotion advert for a Visa we already have. Said we can save 25% on a Sheraton resort if we stay at least 5 nights and do it before July 31st.
You don't say....
Ironic, or what? So we cancelled our Sheraton reservations in Padre and re-booked w/ the card. Saved a nice chunk a change. That NEVER happens.
Sweet!
We got our tax rebate/refund thingy the other day.
Not many showed for movie night, tho lotsa kiddos, a few adults. One funny thing that happened durin the skit, One of the fellas (whose name is D btw) was actn like my secret service (had on shades, ear piece, played it good). Durin the skit B forgot a line (and the guy that introed us had a copy); so he goes to hand it to her and D puts his arm out and holds him back till I nod it's ok. Was funny. Oh well, back to the ol drawin board.
Now that's some quick thinkin on your feet!
We're on the laptop by the fire (darn cold here!), checking out the Indy movie site. They've got behind the scenes clips and stuff. We'll be up north this weekend, so no movie nite. You'll have to let us know what you thought of it if you go, eh?
Well we saw Prince Caspian tonight and it did not disappoint. I had read the first three books, but I hadn't read Caspian yet. It was a tremendous movie, and fit well with today's service.
I'm not sure when they'll post the sermon from today on our church website, but if you get a chance (Reck or anyone reading this for that matter) listen to the sermon before you go watch Caspian. It really fits.
FIREPLACE?!! Oh yeah, you live up north. It's 78 here.
Won't getta chance to see Indy til sat (tho family's voten for 2nd Narnia. maybe fri nite if I'm not too tuckered..maybe.
Tired now..gn.
Nest I'll ck-it-out manana.
Glad yall enjoyed the movie.
Reck,
Make sure it's the May 18th sermon. Well, if you want to listen to any other ones that's fine. But the May 18th one is the one that really fits into Caspian.
Reck -
> Have a God day!
LOL! That was actually funny, Reck!
I also got my so-called tax rebate the other day. It's already gone into paying bills.
In reality, the tax rebate scheme is simply another giveaway to the credit card companies, IMHO.
Any time the gov gives us back some a our own money (ie. tax rebate scheme)) it's a good thing.
You betcha.
We haven't gotten ours yet. I think it was supposed to be mailed out on friday, so we should get it tomorrow or wednesday.
We haven't gotten ours, either. How do you know when it's supposed to come?
The nmail-out dates for the refund cks are based on the last 2 (I think) #'s of your social.
Mine was direct deposit, so that might explain Y I got mine earlier that you America haters.
I thought it was supposed to be direct deposited by friday, but the IRS website says that if you had fees deducted from your tax return, you get a hard-copy check instead of direct deposit. Since the last 2 of my SSN is near the end, they would have sent mine out friday. I'm hoping to get it tomorrow, but maybe wednesday.
Linda (and Carmen, if you're reading this thread), I wasn't including yous in the "America haters" thing.
Looking at the timestamp on my last post, I guess technically tomorrow is wednesday. But working evenings throws me off sometimes.
